Approach
Integrity. Passion. Perseverance. These core values drive all our endeavors. We ensure that in no circumstances, these core principles are compromised with in the name of practicality or convenience.
On time. Within budget. With superior quality. With upmost client satisfaction. We aim to achieve all of these four goals on each project that we undertake.
We approach each project with complete commitment, regardless of its size or importance.
Our design process is extremely thorough, customized to client needs, detail-oriented and includes several design explorations to achieve the broader project goals.
We keep trying and continue to persevere until we arrive at a “coherent and meaningful” design, even if it means more time and resources spent than usual.
Until we are satisfied that the design is the best way forward, we keep exploring and persevering.
Design Philosophy
We believe that although design of built environment is a primarily functional pursuit, but it is also an opportunity to go beyond the “function” to create something of a lasting value.
The aesthetic and artistic dimension of architecture is as important as its utilitarian aspects because buildings are not just mere shelters: they are places which have the ability to enhance our lives in the most compelling ways.
We aspire to create a built environment that not only fulfills the functional criteria set by client, program and site, but also has a “life-enhancing” quality about it by being culturally meaningful, environmentally responsive, and socially sensitive.
In that sense, each project is a challenge to create a “whole” which is much more than “the sum of its parts”.
“Paradigm” is a “typical example” or “pattern” of something. In a way, our practice is an attempt to understand the patterns that exist in our built and non-built environment, so they can be reinterpreted or reinvented or reconciled into newer patterns of the built environment that we design.
Our practice is an honest attempt to reconcile, resolve and reflect the seemingly contrasting yet complimentary, different yet similar, problematic yet potential, “either” yet “or” issues that characterize the complex patterns of modern society in general and the art of architecture in particular into a design language which is ultimately responsive to the fundamental human condition.
